DAY 01: BARCELONA

On arrival, look for your private transfer from the airport to your hotel. .
Later during the day, meet your guide who will pick you up to walk to the Pedrera and introduce you to Gaudi. You will then enjoy in more detail both the Sagrada Familia and the Park Güell, two of the most emblematic of Gaudi’s constructions in the city.

DAY 02: BARCELONA

Meet your guide for a morning of discovery: the old Gothic part of the city, which could be combined with a visit to the Picasso Museum.

ROMAN AND MEDIEVAL BARCELONA
Two hundred years before the Christian period, Barcelona’s heart began to beat as Barcino, a Roman colony. From that moment on, the city grew at an unstoppable pace, contained only by successive walls until becoming, in the 19th century, the modern city we know today.

DAY 03: BARCELONA. Day trip to Girona

Only a 40 minutes away by High Speed train from Barcelona, Girona is certainly a crossroads of Christian, Jewish and Muslim religion and culture. Your guide will meet you at the Girona train station for a morning of discovery! 

GIRONA: ITS PIVOTAL HISTORY, ITS ASTONISHING CULTURAL REMAINS
The ancient walled city of Girona stands on a fortress-like hill, high above the confluence of the Onyar and Ter rivers. As the provincial capital it has a long and distinguished history. Founded by Iberians, the Romans later named it Gerunda and established it as an important stopping point on the Via Augusta, linking Iberia with Rome. Much of the city’s attraction lies in exploring the mediaeval streets, especially around the charming Jewish quarter.

DAY 04: BARCELONA-MADRID

Travel by high-speed train to Madrid in first class, on arrival you will be picked up at Madrid train station and dropped at your hotel.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a guided visit of the old part of Madrid including the Royal Palace.

DAY 05: MADRID

Meet your guide at the Prado Museum, have an enriching experience this morning. . 

THE PRADO MUSEUM AND THE ART WALK

The Prado is one of the world’s most important art museums. The Prado is essential viewing—but not just any viewing will do. We propose a very special visit, savoring the museum’s best and most fascinating works. The quality of its collection is truly singular. Comprised primarily of works collected by the Spanish monarchs since the 16th century, incredible masterpieces hang on its walls, including Las Meninas, by Velázquez, the Black Paintings, by Goya, and The Nobleman with his Hand on his Chest, by El Greco. It also houses other artistic wonders, including The Three Graces, by Rubens, Death of the Virgin, by Mantegna, Descent from the Cross, by Van der Weyden, The Garden of Earthly Delights, by Bosch, and Adam and Eve, by Dürer.

 

DAY 06: MADRID

This evening we recommend a visit to one of the most relevant venues for Flamenco, which is located in Madrid.

FLAMENCO UP CLOSE
For a party you need just three people: one to sing, one to dance and the other to play music. But then you also need others to say ole and clap along, sang La Tana, accompanied on the guitar by Paco de Lucía.

DAY 07: MADRID

Day-trip to Toledo by High-Speen train. Meet your guide at the train-station, and with their help explore this medieval town.

TOLEDO AND THE THREE CULTURES: A HISTORY OF COEXISTENCE
Cultural city par excellence, in the 15th century Toledo was known for its important School of Translators, becoming a reference point for the world’s scholars. Afterwards, the Catholic Monarchs expanded and beautified the city, commissioning the building of the magnificent San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, one of the most emblematic buildings that can be visited in the city, in addition to the cathedral, the synagogue and the Santa Cruz Hospital, now a museum.
Today, this unusual cultural encounter still lends the city a unique character that makes it possible to imagine the splendor of the Middle Ages, while bestowing it with the name “the city of three cultures”.

DAY 08: MADRID-CÓRDOBA

Transfer from Madrid to Cordoba by fast speed train. On arrival, get transferred to your hotel. After your check-in a guide will be waiting for you at the hotel to take you on a walking tour to and around the Mezquita. THE MEZQUITA OF CÓRDOBA It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 and is the best-preserved building from its period. It increased in both size and beauty as the city gained more political and social importance, and was even spared during the Christian Reconquest. It was converted into a Christian cathedral in 1238, and its Byzantine mosaics and the extraordinary system of two-tone horseshoe-shaped arches underwent several expansions, emulating both Renaissance and Baroque styles.

DAY 09: CÓRDOBA-SEVILLE

Transfer from Córdoba hotel and take you straight to your hotel in Seville. Later in the day, explore the city in the company of your guide HISTORICAL GUIDED TOUR We will visit the Alcazar (where Game of Thrones was filmed) to then walk along the Parque de Maria Luisa and taking 45mins long horse-carriage tours, stopping every 15-20mins at selected places so your guide could give you a better insight into this astonishing city.

DAY 10: SEVILLE

Visit the Cathedral with an expert guide who will take you on  a walk around the beautiful historical surroundings. 

SEVILLE’S CATHEDRAL: MAGNA HISPALENSIS
The Cathedral of Seville is a must-see. Everything in it is amazing: Its art gallery surpasses 700 pictures of a first-rate artistic category and its altarpiece is the largest in Christendom. It is also the world’s largest Gothic building with other wonders as its astonishing Renaissance rooms, its fabulous collection of sculptures and, of course, the Giralda tower. 

DAY 11: SEVILLE. Day-trip to Jerez

A day-trip to Jerez is highly recommended! Jerez is mostly famous due to its wine, and that will be the main reason for our visit during this day. We will get into one of the oldest and most important wineries in the city, dating from the late 18th century.
A visit to the winery, a guided tour of around two hours and a visit to see the horses is arranged and included!!!

A PRIVATE VISIT TO ONE OF THE OLDEST AND MOST INTERESTING WINERIES
During the visit to the winery you will enjoy a walk around the property: its “patios”, gardens and diverse rooms, where to immerse yourself in the history of the ageing of Jerez’s wines and brandy. You will be able to feel the essence of one of the oldest wines in the world, the prestigious Fino Imperial, whose solera (those closest to the floor) date back to the 1870s. After a private visit to the winery, we will enjoy one of the most interesting wine tastings that you will ever be able to do, tasting 30 years old wines, known as Vors, together with cheese and Spanish ham.

DAY 12: CARMONA

Transfer from Seville to Carmona, enjoy your visit. The rest of the day would be free for you to enjoy the hotel and take a swim!
CARMONA, THE CITY AND IT’S PARADOR
Carmona is a small city, but definitely stands out due to the traces left by those cultures that have populated it during its extensive churches. You will enjoy its astonishing historic quarter, dominated by the imposing image of its Arab fortress, the Alcazar del Rey Don Pedro and surrounded by churches, palaces and city walls.

DAY 13: SEVILLE-RONDA on your way to GRANADA

Private transfer to Granada stopping in Ronda for a guided visit of the city.
RONDA GOYESCA
Ronda is one of the oldest cities in Spain. Inhabited since the Neolithic age, it was a relevant site for the Roman Empire, key historic border of the Arab Kingdom and, later, jewel of the art and architecture of the 18th century.

DAY 14: GRANADA

Highlight of Granada – The Alhambra – a private guided visit. THE ALHAMBRA The Alhambra, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, is a truly singular place in Spain, representing more than 400 years of Islamic heritage, which affords it historical originality with respect to the rest of Europe. There’s no other crossroads in the world as important as this Nasrid palace, no place as spellbindingly beautiful, where a sunset over its battlements alone makes the journey worthwhile.

DAY 15: GRANADA

Guided visit around the Albaicín. BEYOND THE ALHAMBRA. THE ALBAICÍN Granada is much more that the Alhambra, however difficult that may seem. In the «Albayzín» you can still experience the popular culture which could be considered a sort of counterpart to its palatial Alhambra.

DAY 16: GRANADA-MARBELLA

End your immersive holiday by ending it at the beach. 

DAY 17: MALAGA

A cosmopolitan city, capital to the Costa del Sol (Sun Coast), has a long history that takes us back to the Phoenicians. The Greeks, Romans and Arabs also left their traces and can be appreciated in Malaga’s present culture and architectural remains.

MÁLAGA. A CITY WITH ART. 

Malaga has become one of the Spanish cities with the highest concentration of museums in Spain, with the Picasso Museum in a leading role (with master pieces donated by the family to the artist’s city of birth).

 

DAY 18: GOODBYE TO SPAIN

Get dropped off at the Airport in Málaga, for your flight back to your home city.
